Hook'n'Slide

Hook 'n' Slide is a revolutionary new hook and ring game where two players compete 'shoulder to shoulder' using their own ring to score points or to  cancel the scoring of their opponent while aiming ring at multiple targets.

      HOOK AND RING GAMES

      WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!

  • Hook and ring games have been around for centuries, with one even being patented back in 1884! However, these games have remained largely unchanged over time. The current hook and ring games on the market fall short in providing a truly competitive and engaging multiplayer experience.  In the typical game players taking turns swinging the SAME ring at the SAME hook, wondering how to compete or  even how to keep score.

 "Is this all there is to it?!"

  • Imagine the excitement of a head-to-head competition! You and your friend stand shoulder to shoulder, each holding your own ring, as you strategize your next move. Will you go for the high-scoring 'Hook', the strategically placed 'Slider', or an easy 'Hanger'? But that's not all –  Imagine 'knocking off' their shot or 'topping' it, canceling their points and gaining an advantage. It's a dynamic, interactive game where skill and a little bit of friendly competition collide.
  • Here's the scoring breakdown:

Hook = 3 points

Slider = 2 points

Hanger = 1 point

Be the first player to reach exactly 21 points

Trick shot by Carsyn

Carsyn's challenge was to get a Hook and a Slider swinging two rings at the same time to get  "The name of the game" - Hook'n'Slide

Carsyn's Original Trick Shot

This video shows that Carsyn originally made the "Hook and Slide" Trick Shot with 2 rings in one hand.

Game Play Rules

  •  Decide who gets "first swing"
  • Players take turns to swing their ring towards the targets.
  • The scoring round begins when a player gets a Hook, a Slider or a Hanger, the player's opponent will then get one swing that will end the round, at which time all points scored. Note: Both players can score points in a round except when a player's hook, slider or hanger match other player's on the same (side) target in which case the points scores are cancelled. You can also cancel your opponent's score by knocking it off its target.
  • The last round winner gets next first swing and game continues as described above.
  • A player with exactly 21 points at the end of a round wins! If both players have 21 pts the game ends in a tie.
